Proposition 65 is the California law that mandates the state to maintain a list of chemicals that the state of California has identified that may cause cancer or contain reproductive toxicity. A California Proposition 65 warning label is mandated by the State of California to appear on products sold in California if they contain chemicals on the Proposition 65 list of hazardous substances. Rest assured that McKlein Company materials are in full compliance with federal safety laws and regulations. There is no risk in handling or using the bag for its intended purpose. However, we wouldn't advise ingesting the materials. It is important to mention, that the warning label is required if even a trace amount of any one of the many chemicals on the California Proposition 65 warning list might be present. Either way you have a 30 day warranty that covers damage as a result of defective materials or poor workmanship. If this is the case, we will, at our expense, repair or replace your bag.
